Jeremy Emerson - Creative Director

Like any good artist, Jeremy is obsessed with the way things look... especially that split-second first impression. He observes color, style and design in every aspect of his life. But unlike those "moody" artists, he's never had trouble connecting peoples' tastes with his own visual expression. Jeremy was a high-honors graduate of Portland State University's art program and has since been creating and designing everything from corporate identities, logos and websites, to games, billboards and brochures. Drawing, painting, illustration, design and photography are all strong points for him. His creative vision helps infuse each project with a contagious energy and momentum.

Jeremy melded his talent in visual arts with the digital realm as a production artist for a Portland-based online marketing agency during college and has since served as creative director for Finestra Media, Inc., an interactive training agency, and The Pint of Portland, a once wildly popular monthly event serving the interactive community in Portland. Since 2001, he has been extremely happy in his role at Wright Strategies, and is intensely thankful for having such incredible business partners.

 
  • Jeremy is half Canadian and grew up in Oregon. He lives in Gladstone, Oregon (where he once ran the "Happy Rock Invitational" cross country meet when in high school!) with his wife Shelly, a Wisconsin native.
  • Jeremy seriously can't believe how many people are FROM Wisconsin.
  • Jeremy loves playing any of his four guitars, any day, any time, just as long as the weather isn't better for golf.
  • His artistic favorites include: Raphael, Piet Mondrian, Rene Magritte, Frank Lloyd Wright, Henri Rousseau, Sheryl Crow, Roger Clyne and Lyle Lovett just to name a few.
