More Recess Fun with KEEN

by Rebekah 6/17/2011 10:44:00 AM

As we mentioned before, KEEN is bringing Recess back and giving customers all the tools they need to take a break of their own on the KEEN website.

The KEEN community has embraced the Recess Revolution, so we helped give them even more ways to interact and share their recess.  The Recess Photo Pledges let you step into a virtual photobooth and upload a photo of yourself taking a break and tell the rest of the community how you spent your latest recess.  We also stream in photos taken at various KEEN events of people sharing their pledges.

So far, people have pledged to climb more mountains, go on more hikes, spend more time with family and even to meet more sea lions!  Check out these fun and creative pledges and make one of your own.

The Recess Pledge has encouraged the KEEN community around the world to "step back from the screen" and "leap off laundry mountain."  But we thought, wouldn't it be fun to see what others are taking a Recess from?  We created the Call to Recess so you can create your very own pledge!  And let's just say, people have been thinking outside the box...

"We can step back from the grind."

"We can leap off deadline mountain."

And instead of "A bell inside your head that's ringing." one extra fun person talked about "A peacock inside your head that's writing."

One thing is for sure, the KEEN community is one creative bunch and their Calls to Recess and Photo Pledges have proved that for sure.  So what are you waiting for?  Make a pledge of your own!

Recess is Back for KEEN!

by Rebekah 4/18/2011 10:32:00 AM

KEEN recently launched a new campaign encouraging their customers to take a 15 minute Recess from their busy life and go outside and play.  In order for their user-friendly website to fit the new marketing message, we helped with a redesign.  Take a look!

You'll see we really made the focus of the site the fun, new lifestyle images provided by North.  Because the campaign uses bright, bold colors, we knew we needed to add a little spice to the website.

Make sure to check out the Recess Toolkit which includes a doorhanger, a few hall passes, a screensaver and a pledge to take Recess back!  And we've definitely been taking advantage around our office.

We love the new direction and design of the website, but the BEST news for KEEN customers is the site is just as easy to navigate and make a purchase as it was before we spruced it up.

Have you had a recess worth talking about?  Share it on the KEEN Fan Photos page!

YMBL and South Texas State Fair Website is Live!

by Rebekah 3/18/2011 9:29:00 AM

It’s a Good Time to Have a Great Time at the Fair!  And we couldn't agree more.

We recently launched a new Saffire Event Website for YMBL and the South Texas State Fair.  Take a look!

As we mentioned in a previous post, this project presented some new challenges to our team and we were happy to provide YMBL with everything they were looking for in a webssite.

Because the focus of the website changes so drastically between fair season and the rest of the year, we created two very different designs for the site.  We wanted customers to know the focus immediately once arriving on the site so they could find what they were looking for quickly.  You'll want to check out their site again in a few weeks to see the year-round design.

We incorporated our ecommerce platform into their site so they could sell tickets online for the first time.  They can now accept payment online for tickets, vendors, sponsors and YMBL memberships.

This was our first time to create a "Member's Only" section for one of our event websites.  The Member's Only section allows YMBL members to update their profiles, pay for memberships and see upcoming community events as well as member specific events.

Now, you'll just have to trust us on how good the Member's Only section looks, because we can't show you.  After all, it is Member's Only!

We also helped The South Texas State Fair expand their reach with social media and already has over 100 Facebook fans!

Chris Colletti and his team at YMBL were a pleasure to work with and we can't wait to hear about their successful event this year.

  • Get directions
  • Buy tickets

Announcing KEEN Utility

by Rebekah 11/17/2010 2:27:00 PM

Wright Strategies is happy to announce the launch of a new section of the KEEN website for KEEN Utility, a line of shoes for industrial and service professionals.

We were able to seamlessly integrate this new line of shoes into KEEN’s current site for Men’s Industrial Shoes, Men’s Service Shoes and Women’s Service Shoes.

Another feature we implemented to enhance the users experience when shopping for this line of shoes is “hotspots.”  Because the Utility products have several unique features that play a part in your decision to purchase, we incorporated roll-over “hotspots” to tell you all these service and industrial shoes have to offer.

The “hotspots” are not only on the homepage, but also on the product detail pages so you can really take a close look at the shoe you’re about to buy.

We also expanded on one of our favorite KEEN features: “See with Jeans.”  The Utility products will likely be worn with scrubs or workpants, so we turned “See with Jeans” into “See with Pants” to give you a more realistic picture.

Congratulations KEEN on this new launch!  We can’t wait to see what features we can expand next.

Introducing: Saffire Commerce

by Rebekah 9/28/2010 3:32:00 PM

The Wright Strategies team is happy to announce the launch of our newest venture: Saffire Commerce.

You know you can count on straight off the shelf website products, but they require you to sacrifice the look and feel.  Completely custom websites give you the look you want, but are they dependable?

That is where Saffire Commerce comes in as the first combination of these two options!

Saffire Commerce is unique in offering you standard functionality and a stable platform, but is still completely customizable to your look and feel for products, events or mobile sites.

Seeing is believing: Take Saffire for a test drive!

If you’re interested in finding out more about Saffire, let us know!  We will be happy to give you more information.

KEEN Is Speaking New Languages

by Jeremy 6/24/2010 2:37:00 PM

With the level of success the KEEN Footwear ecommerce site has had in the US, we knew it was only a matter of time before we’d take it across the pond. After brushing up on our German and French, studying European tax rates and practicing our international business relations, we are excited to announce that you can now shop KEEN online in Europe!

Our challenge was to provide the same unique and creative shopping experience as the US site, but tailored to the specific needs of the European market. The result? An awesomely integrated shopping site that allows consumers to select their country, shop in English, German or French and purchase products directly from the KEEN Europe headquarters.

This project has been another illustration of the incredible partnership we’ve had with the team at KEEN, now including KEEN Europe.

To celebrate the launch, simultaneous toasts took place in Oregon, Texas and The Netherlands. (There’s nothing like a glass of champagne at 4am, west coast time!)

Spend your buck, Pound or Euro on anything KEEN at www.keenfootwear.com.
